SINCE 1986

At Heladería Horchatería Pepe, we take pride in being an integral part of the local community. Since opening our doors in 1986, we've worked with passion to offer the finest ice creams, authentic Valencian horchata, and classic fartons at Playa Pobla de Farnals.

Our story began a few years earlier. In the 1970s, José and Milagros opened a small grocery store in Torrent. Years later, with the arrival of major supermarket chains like Consum and Mercadona, that family business had to close.

In 1985, fortune smiled upon us — José won the lottery. That summer, after discovering Playa Pobla and seeing how lively it was, they decided it was the perfect place to start anew. With part of the prize money, they bought a shop, allowing Pepe Ice Cream & Horchata to open in 1986.

Since then, we've witnessed many changes in the area and our customers' tastes. Through it all, we’ve stayed committed to offering high-quality ice creams, always paired with our fresh horchata and fartons, making us a local favorite.
